Strategic Planning and Accreditation

Sample Work Product:  NIS WASC Self-Study Report

Systems thinking involves aligning structures and processes so that an organization can function smoothly and efficiently.  Action plans associated with strategic planning and accreditation are central to the sustainability of an excellent school.  All stake-holders play pivotal roles in promoting and celebrating educational excellence.

Communication

       Weekly notes to the community
       Regular meetings with constituents
       Community Building

Communication on a variety of levels garners trust, builds community, and ensures stability.

Accountability and Professional Development

Key to any schools success is it's ability to hire and retain excellent teachers;  I have extensive and successful recruiting experience.

Accountability related to school governance, teacher evaluation, school operations, budgeting, and development needs to be clear and transparent and closely tied to timely feedback and communication.

School initiatives need to be supported by on-going professional and staff development that is aligned with school goals and connected with supervision and evaluation practices.
